Tuesday thru Friday we play a total of
1½ rounds or 6 games per day.  The players will vote on the National schedule by ballot in April ACFB # 356 concerning scoring method rather than deciding in the business meeting before tournament. Each division will vote independently (keep current method or use ballot scoring), this way the players know how games will be scored before traveling to Lebanon. Players may start sooner if pairings are ready, and may agree to break for a meal after two games.

Voting participation was not very high from our mail-in ballot in # 356 ACFB-Apr 2012. Masters voted to amend the scoring system to ballot scoring by a 4-1 vote effective with this year's National Tournament. Majors (5-1) and Minors (2-0) voted to retain their current method of scoring by game. All divisions continue to play four-game rounds. GAYP Nationals were not voted upon here, and remain scored by game (two-game rounds).

Tournament Director will have your rating and place you in the appropriate division by brackets: as 2201 & above plays Masters (A Class), 1901-2200  plays Masters (B Class – U2200), 1701-1900  will play Majors - U1900, and  unrated - 1700 & below plays Minors. Division winners (or previous winners) advance to next division level for the next 3 years.  Players may discuss and vote on minor changes in pre-tournament meeting.
